This site is a public demo of Godwit, a WordPress plugin for selling trips on WooCommerce. Godwit Tours is a fictional operator: there are no real trips, bookings or payments here.
What we keep
- Bookings and forms: anything you type at checkout, in traveller names or in a “notify me” form is replaced with fictional details before it is saved. No real name, email, phone or address is stored.
- Payments: none. The only payment method is “Demo payment”, which takes no money and asks for no card details.
- Emails: the demo sends none.
- Reset: every night the whole database is restored to its original state, so orders, edits and accounts made during the day are deleted.
Cookies
Only the cookies the shop needs to work: WooCommerce’s cart and session cookies, and WordPress’s login cookies if you sign in to the demo admin. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties
None. Fonts and photos are served from this site; no maps, videos, analytics or other outside services are loaded.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records requests (IP address, page, time and browser) for a short period, to keep the site secure and to block abuse.
